MOTOR CAR ACCIDENTS.
.____.o._:___ A series of accidents occurred to motor cars yesterday in the neighbour, _hood of Taihape_ As Mr. Spedding, iwith histvife and,=ehild,_were driving ‘between Taihape and Oh/utu, when about opposite the Maori-pah at Winilata, the rim of one of the Wheels came cif, and the ear, becoming ‘uncontrollable, shot into th'e"bank,' being very b:.:'lly smashed. Mr. Spedding was somewhat seriously hurt, but the [nature of his injuries have not "yet been disclosed. In endeavouring to avoid this car, the other carwent eve: the bank, turning a complete soniersault. Mr_ lßelk, who was one of the occupants, |sustained a broken collar bone and an injury to his chest, and was relmoved to the Huia private hospital. Mr. Whittle, also one of the company, }l'eecivcd an injury to -his ribs.
