The top price D paid for cow was 71 gm. fort Glad(l__brook S.N. and 76 euineas for Rising l_ 1 a two-year-old bought by Mr. W. A. _ ‘MaeFarlane, closely followed by 70 lguineas, paid for another Gladbrook cow, Roe Rising (5 years), bought by “Mr. T_ Ellingham. Out of TO4 beasts n catalogued, four were ‘9V3’r/h<3l‘.?.Wn.i 31 L, 1 passed in and 69 werrfsold. realising e over £4OOO. Of 31 fiassed in. the ..imajority, were quitted fii‘iV3h‘3Y after 1, the sale.
