Two particularly daring outrages were committea in Dublin recently, the victim in each being a member of the detective division of the Metropolitan Police. l .
Af a late hour a party of men \v‘ez/11“ ing women’s veils and c:=.rrying 1-0--volvers V knocked at DetectiveSergéant Ha_lley’s house in Norfolk Road. The sergeant was out. and the men pushed their way in and held up the inmates.
