Tea consisted of bread and Butter, greengage jam, cake, and hot tea. Dinner was composed of I meats, tea, bread and: butter. Music; was supplied during meals by a 'gramo- I phone. The men slept in sleeping bags in hammocks. The dirigible was I equippediwith a wireless directional: indicator of 300 mile radius; wireless with 1200 mile radius; telephonewith ha | hundred mile radius. The airship was i sometimes ‘badly bumped :by sharp! wind storms, but rem_ained on an even I keel.
