WATER DIVINATION.

Mr. A. C. Clark, a. water divin€~r_, gave a demonstration on Saturday on Mr. Preston’s nroperty, Seatmznf Heights, ‘Wellington, to, :1 party «:13 visitors who were greatly intereszed in the proceedings. He admits he eannot explain how it is that he is able by means of a twig; to indicate where there is an unclerground water supply, The Mayor of Miramar, says the Evening Post, referred to the disabili« ‘ties that residents of‘ Seatoun Heights laboured under with respect of water }supply. They should have the water, he said. If not in the usual Way, then 'perhaps it might be the way Mr_ Clarke had demonstrated to them; at any rate, the residents on the heights should have the water they had so }long waited for.
