LICENSING COMMITTEE.

A annual meeting of the Waimarino Licensing Committee was held in Taihape on Tuesday. H. Sullivan applied for tile renewal of a publican/‘s license for the Wa~ ngaehu Hotel.

The police objected to ‘rho renewal, owing /to the unsatisfactory condition of the premises, and the application Was adjourned till next meeting.

F. C_ Faber’s application for :1 renewal of a license for the Upokongaro Hotel was granted subject to certain minor matters being attended to. E_ Dwyor’s appli<_:ation for a. renewal of license for the Railway Hotel at Fordell was granted subject to hot Water being provided for cleansing drinking utensils. Renewals were granted to the licensees of the Gretna and Ern’s fiotel, Taihape.

An accommodation license is to be granted to H. J. ‘Archer for Tokaianu Hotel, provided hot water cleansing of drinking utensils is supplied. A renewal of license was also granted to the Tggaanu Hotel.
