TAIHAPE PATRIOTIC ASSOCIATION.
A meeting was held in the Society’; rooms on ‘Monday. Present: l\L3s.;rs Wrightson (chairman), Bray, Da‘.'vill,. Arrowsmith, Powell, ,!Neagle, Mc33r» mick, Howden and (secetar_v_) Mr F. Somerville was appoint»:-1 to act on :Re‘turned \Sol.‘d.-iers Sub-Com-mittee, to the position vacated by Mr A. James. I-.lr Howden reported thait there were at present no soldiers in the Hospital, but all troop «trains for the month had been met and necessities to the value of 15/ purchased on behalf of exsoldiers.
