day we held a special cattle sale' at Taihape. A good yarding came forward, (he majority of which was- disposed of as follows: —• Polled Angus weauer steers £4, heifers £3 5/, 20 in os. P. A. steers £7 8/6, heifers ■ £6 4/. Devon Cross weauer steers £4, small do. £2 10/. £2 17/6. m/s Hereford wen tiers £3 17/6, 2yr heifers to £6 10/. 20mos steers £6 5/. £7 6/, 2Ayr. do £0 5/, £lO 7/. small weauers 25/, 34/, bull 9/. At Huutcrville on Tuesday a small entry came to hand, Quotations; Small lambs 6/, 6/8, m/aged ewes in lamb IS/, m/s weauers £2, 15mos. steers £4 7/, 20mos. do £6 5/. old cows 30/.
