An inquest on Alexander Mathcson, who was fatally injured by a fall from a horse, was held at Chrisn-hurch yesterday. The evidence showed that deceased, who was riding a young and restive horse, lost the reins and in an endeavour to regain them fell and broke his neck. A verdict was returned accordingly.
