OWHANGO SALE.
Messrs. Abraham & Williams Ltd., report at Owhango Yards on Ist inst. a good yarding of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle. There was a good attendance of the public and all sheep yarded, changed hands under the hammer at satisfactory prices but cattle were hard to quit at reduced prices. Price s ruling were as Fat ewes 24/5, to 27/, store ewes 22/ to 2G/4. lambs to 9/9, lambs good $o 19/. cull lambs to 5/9. iSmos, steers £4 10/ to £6 5/. 18 mos. heifers r.w.b. to £b, store cows to £4 10/, dairy cows to £ll, calves small 21/. Messrs. Abraham and Williams Ltd.. held their usual fortnightly sale at Hunterville on Tuesday. Fair yardingS came to hand and mot with a better sale than of late. Messrs. Dalgety & Co., Ltd., reyort having a fair entry of sheep and cattle 'at their Mangawoka Sale on Thursday the Bth instant. A very f;«' clearance was effected and prices were in J favour of purchasers.
