Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a good yarding of both sheep and cattle at their Huntervillc sale on Tuesday, May (itli. 1.019. Bidding for sheep was animated, and all lots sold under the hammer. Cattle were, slow to quit, and most lots failed to reach reserves. Quotations: Sheep —2-tooth wethers 25/, 2-tooth ewes 20/. 21/(5, 4 and 5-year ewes 17/4, empty to IS/, pood wether lambs 13/. medium lambs 7/6, to 11/4. cull lambs 3/ to 6/4. Cattle—Jersey heifers £5 10/, empty cows £5.
