The Finns have advanced to Lake Ladoga region. Two columns are converging on Petrolavrodsk, and a third is advancing from Olonetz. They have occupied Lodernopol, cutting the Petrograd railway. They received support from the inhabitants, who have risen on masse against the Soviet Government. The situation of Maynrads Ironsides fronts is thus relieved.

BOLSHEVIKS EVACUATING PETROGRAD. Received May 2, 11.20 a.m. LONDON, May 1. It is reported the Bolsheviks- are evacuating Potrograd, in consequence of events at Olonetz.
