MANGAWEKA SALE.
Messrs. Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North report having a good yarding of both sheep and cattle at their Maugaweka Yards, on Thursday, April 24th, 1919. Practically all the sheep sold but the cattle being dull of sale several lines failed to reach the vendors Quotations are: Sheep. Lambs small 5/1 to 5/8; medium late shorn 8/ to 8/3; mixed 2th small 14/3; aged ewes in lamb 12/2 Cattle.—2£yr steers £8 10/ to £9 17/; 2Qmos. Steers £6 10/, £7, £7 1/; yearling heifers £2 5/; bulls £2 2/6.
