Sir—l returned to Taihape by the express last night, and on reading your paper when I reached home, I was astonished at seeing my name figuring as one of the convenors of Mr Jobhtt a meetings. As I have given no one authority to act on my behalf, I beg to protest against the use of my name. — I am, etc., J. DB L-UEN.
