REVOLT QUELLED BY FIRE HOSE.

A mutiny broke out in a reformatory near Bordeaux, where about 100 girls ar e under detention (says the Pa.ris correspondent £>f the "Daily Express").

A signal was given by the ringleader by means of a whistle, whereupon some of the girls broke down the doors and barriers and fled, while others barricaded themselves in the refectory.
