The latest soldiers’ votes those still on the Continent are:— Continuance 15,875 Prohibition .. .. .. 3,955 Soldiers’ majority for Continuance, .11,920. The total now, including soldiers' votes received is:—

COUNTING THE VOTES.

WELLINGTON, April 13.

The counting of tho votes cast by the soldiers in New Zealand will begin this week in Wellington. The figures should be available before the end of the week. Returning officers will begin official counts of civilian votes this wek, after they have receied the parcel of absent voters’ permits from various parts of thd country. Their official announcement will include the votes east by absent voters and seamen. It is estimate# that there are not less than 12,000 of~ these votes still to be included in returns.
