o ■— OLD GIRLS' HOCKEY CLUB'.
The first annual meeting of the Old Girls' Hockey Club was held in the Fire Brigade Hall last night, when there was a large number present. The annual report and balance-sheet was read and adopted, the Club's funds showing a very creditable balance of £(5 17/4. A considerable number of new members joined the club. It was decided to challenge the Huia Club for a match on May Ist. The premise of a successful season for the Club is bright, and the team to be put, into the field is considered to be stronger than last year.
