W.D. BAYLEY, B.A.
On Monday night, Mr. W. D. Bayley 8.A., will lecture here for the last time. Packed audiences in Auckland and Wellington Town Halls nave-, cheered the great Britisher's orations to the echo. Mr. Bayley with the famous "Hawk Talk" in which he cleverly likens the liquor business to a hawk in such a manner as to give his audience the keenest delight. Mr. Bayley is a prominen educationalist. He is an eminent official in Canadian Labour League circles. He was chosen to investigate the disgraceful tactics of the liquor business in seeking to obtain "Continuance" in Brit ish Columbia by false voting. Ho visited 'England in wartime on hi' specific mission. He knows the Trade inside and outside, up and down and round about. He claims that while many good men are engaged in the Trade the trouble lies in liquor and not with those who sell it. In this contention he but coincides with all that Sir Wilfred Lawson sale 1 in England. Monday night's meeting promises to be big. April 10th.
