DISORDER IN COREA. THIRTY RIOTERS KILLED. NEW YORK, March 21. The "New York Times" Washington corespondent says the Corea National Association asked President Wilson to initiate action at the Peace Congress towards obtaining the independence of Corea.
New York dispatches say disorders in Corea are more widespread than is admitted by the Japanese authorities. In on instance thirty rioters were killed and forty wpt3 wounjcled.

Despatches from Peking say that an. American missionary from Korea stated that during the past decade Coreans had been brutally treated, and women and children beaten. The Japanese authorities charged the American missionaries with teaching trie Coreans ideas of individual rights. Japanese soldiers beat two American women missionaries. The American Consul at Seoul was arrested by the Japanese, but later, was released. Despatches from Tokio say independence demonstrations in Koaea continue. FRENCH INDUSTRIES AND BRITISH MANPACTURES. The Overseas Club has promised to cooperate with a committee which is to organise a chain of bonfires round the United Kingdom on Peace night, by helping to secure a chain of bonfires round the Empire on a -similar plan.
