PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby giveS that a Demand that a proposal to adopt the system of rating property on tlie basis of unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Taihape be submitted to the vote of the Eatepayers of the said Borough, was delivered to the Mayor of the said Borough on the 3rd day of March, 1919, and • such demand was sufficiently signed by at least 15 per cent, of the Eatepayers ;on the'" Roll, as required by Section 37 .-'c) cf "The Eating Act. 1905."

Public Notice is hereby further given that in compliance with the iaid demand and with the provisions of Section 37 of the said Act. that the votes of the Eatepayers of the Borough of Taihape will be taken upon a proposal —i.e. "That henceforth the system of Eating property on the basis of the Unimproved Value thereof be adopted, in the Borough of Taihape" in the manner prescribed by the said Act on Wednesday, the 26th day of March, 1919 (being the day fixed in that behalf by the May;>r as Chairman of the Ltfcal Authoiiry) between tho hours of nine o'clock in the morning and seven o'clock in the afternoon at the following Pulling Booth: Council Chambers, Town Hall, Taihape.
