COMING PUBLIC AUCTIONS

COMMENCING NEXT MONTH.

LONDON, March 6

The public auctions of Australian and New Zealand wools are resuming in London on April 2nd. Sixty-two thousand bales of combing wools and 20,000 of clothings are offering: These include representative selections, and will be open for full Home competition, and also to a limited lextont for buyers from Allied countries. The sales will resolve into a competition between Homo trade firms, subject, to a fixed reserve price. Frequent auctions will be held during' the remainder of the year. Offerings will be regulated by the trades' capacity to absorb''the wool.

The Government's issue price will be lowered 71 per cent, on April 1, and remain in force till the end of November.
