ANTONIA DOLORES CONCERT On Saturday evening, at the Taihape Town Hall, the celebrated French soprano, Madamoiselle Antonia Dolores, renowned throughout the world for her wonderful vocal gifts, will give concerts here, and render a programme that will without doubt make a universal appeal. 'Fhe visit here of such an artist must stand out as one of the big features of the
year. The Sydney Morning Herald recently said:—"Amongst the great artists who have visited Australia, none have become so acclimatised or has (become so thoroughly at home with her audiences as Madamoiselle Dolores. On Saturday night this brilliant artist opened another tour of the Commonwealth with a delightful recital at the Sydney Town Hall, where her welcome was one of unbounded enthusiasm. The French soprano has returned here in great voice, and, as in other days, and more so than four years ago, has brought her numerous audiences completely under the sway of her regnant charm. l " The pianist is Mr. Harold Smith, who is heard in the piano solo, "Bolonais A Flat" (Chopin) and "An Irish Bed."
