Some of the results of ton years of compulsory resumption for closer settlement in New South Wales is conveyed in the following figures;— 295 estates of an area of two million acres were purchased at a cost of six and a half These lands provided 2,707 farms, now in occupation; 1,079 available, 400 of which are reserved for returned soldiers.
