AMUSEMENTS

ANTONIA DOLORES TOWN HALL, SATURDAY NIGHT. "The sweetest singer of our time," so the Sydney press described Madamoiselle Antonia Dolores, the worldfamed French singer, who appears in the Town Hall on Saturday night. This remarkable songstress enjoyS more popularity in this country than any other artist who has visited these shores. Her tour of the Commonwealth States was a veritable triumph —everywhere she was reeeivd with rapturous applause. A number of people in Sydney lingered in the artist's room, and a crowd ,of adorers, yoling and old, and well-known singers, professional and amateur, surrounded her car and fairly smothered her with flowers. Her concert numbers in Taihape will include such gems as "I've been Roaming( ", "Listen to the Voice of Love," "Echo, Tell Me," "Canzone," from the 4th act of "Otello," "Ave Maria,' Tschaikowsky's "Berceuse," Toujours a toi," the celebrated "Valse Song." from "Romeo et Juliette" opera, and Mc Dowell's !"Long Ago." Madamdiselle Dolores has reduced her prices in order to give Taihape residents an opportunity of hearing her, and as this is positively the last opportunity of her appearing (before a New Zealand audience,

everyone should avail themselves of

this opportunity

The box plan is now open at Swedlund's music warehouse, where seats may be rvserved. Country residents can reserve their seats by po.st.
