BOROUGH OF TAIHAPE.

“THE RATING ACT, 1905,” AND THE AMENDMENTS THEETOF. In the matter of Eating on the System of Unimproved Value. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a Demand that a proposal to adopt the system of rating property on the basis of unimproved value of all rateable property within the Boroiigh of Taihape be submitted to the vote of the Ratepayers of the said Borough, was delivered to the- Aay or of the said Borough on the 3rd day of March, 1919, and such demand was sufficiently signed by at least 15 per cent, of the Ratepayers on tire Roll, as required by Section 37 'e) of “The Rating Act. I9OS. ”

Public Notice is hereby further given that in compliance with the said demand and with the provisions of Section 37 of the said Act. that the votes of the Ratepayers of the Borough of Taihape will hie 1 taken upon a proposal —i.e, “That henceforth the system of Eating property on the basis of the Unimproved Value thereof be adopted, in* the Borough of Taihape” in the manner prescribed by the said Act on Wednesday, the 26th day of March, 1919 (being the day fixed in that behalf by the Mayor as Chairman of the Local Authority) between the hours of nine o’clock in the morning and seven o’clock in the afternoon at the following Polling B’ooth: Council Chambers, Town Hall,
