B’ernard Nianmburg, a Now Yoirk lawyer, has been appointed by the Supreme Court to ascertain whether the Czar is dead. Naumburg holds judgment against the Czar for over £20,000 for delivery of sugar to Russia: on the Czar’s orders, before the latter's downfall. The Czar had £200,000 in deposits in the National City Bank of New York, but the bank will not pay judgment till it is proved the Czar is dead.
