THE HORORATA ARRIVES.
WELLINGTON, March 14. The transport Hororata reached th&harbour entrance at 7.30 p.m., and was saluted by the guns of the forts. The troopship with a couple of brilliant rockets. The outward bound Maori signalled a welcome and her passengers cheered as the Hororata was passed. Otherwise there was no demonstration, the vessel’s late arrival having upset all arrangements. The vessel will berth at 2 p.m. to-morrow, when a public welcome will be accorded.
