Received 8.45, LONDON, March 14. Colonel Seely, in this House of Commons, announced that there were many aviation novelties. He instanced a new seaplane with five lengines, with carries five tons 100 miles an hour. They were also expcriifcnting in machines with eight engines, carrying eight tons. Other novelties which possess unprecedented properties and. unparalleled speed. New types of commercial flying boats for great rivers were also being developed. There were also inventions for piloting machines in fogs and bad weather, which, if successful, would probably solve many difficulties of long-distance flight. The whole resources of the air force would be available to assist the civilian aviation.
