AEROPLANE LINERS
At his vast central works on the outskirts of Mi'lan jiartni Caproni, who ranks among the men of genuis who helped .to win tie war, is putting the finishing touches to a gigantic new type of triplanc, destined for the Atlantic Service. It is fitted with dining and sleping cars, every up-to date travelling comfort, and is capable of conveying 100 passengers at ia time. The first model, which probably will be inspected by President Wilson during his forthcoming vi/iit to Italy, will start shortly afterwards on its maiden voyage to the United States. Another giant type, designed especially for the needs of the international postal, merchant, and newspapor "icrivcf is pmct'callj ready for flight. A third type has been planned with a view of superseding the ancient and insecure cartavan routes of the Asiatic and African continents, and of bringing their remotest regions in constant contact with the centres of European civilisation.
