STOCK SALE. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmcrston North, report having a very fair entry of both sheep and cattle at their Taihape sale on Wednesday, the sth instant, and while there was good competition for sheep, cattle w-ere al most unsaleable. Quotations: — Sheep.—Cull ewes 8/3 to .12/-, lowconditioned four-five-year ewes 14/to 15/-, four-five-year ewes 20/- to 23/4, mixed fat sheep to 28/3, mixed aged Romney rams 22/- to 2$ guineas, four-tooth Lincoln rams 5 guineas. Cattle.—Light fat cows £9 to £lO. fat cows £ll to £ll 10/-, three-year heifers £S, cows with calves £lO/10/-.
