BUY A SEASON TICKET
FOE THE CHAUTAUQUA " THERE'S A REASON." There is scarcely a man or a "woman in the district who will not attend tat least one or two of the Chautauqua en'tertainmPuts during 1 the next six days. There are two very strong reasons A-'ihy everyone vho goes at ill should buy % season's ticket, good for the entire week, for 10s.
The first reason is simply one of economy. It will pay you. The season ticket costs 10s, iand it is good for 12 performances, which, if paid for separately, would cost £1 0s .7dt The season ticket is transferable. It is good for all the members of the family. If there are six people in your household each one can attend two performances, all on the one ticket, and then each performance will only oost lOd. If you are goifcig at all, buy the season ticket and make a good fellow of yourself by giving someone else a treat.
There is another reason. Thirty citizens of your town made it possbile for the Chautauqua to come here by signing a guarantee for £3OO. These men assumed all this risk of over £3OO and all the work entailed in making a success of the undertaking without any possible hope of profit for themselves. The guarantee must be made up entirely of advance sales of season tickets. In fairness to the 30 men who have made this rare treat possible everyone who is going to attend a performance at all should buy nothing but a season ticket. Season tickets may be had at the Municipal Chambers or from any members of the committee. Secure tone a* once iand boost a good thing a long.
