New York Players at Chautauqu A Company of Six Selected Artists will render attractive Programs at Local Assembly. JANET YOUNG and DEAN FERGUS REDDIE to play leading roles. M mm > s •** % m r ' * Janet Young, Artiste. Janet Young’ and her New York Players are favorably known in hundreds of towns in America and Canada, where they have appeared in the last few seasons on the various Chautauqua platforms. Miss Young was busy with an engagement in New York when we cabled her to come to Australia. It was with. great delight that her acceptance w r as received, and we can promise the many Chautauqua centres in the Commonwealth a real treat when this dainty artiste appears with her selected support. Miss Young has emerged rapidly into a large success from her spectacular debut with the Portland Stock Co. a few years ago. She has a wide range of character portrayal in her repertoire, but is specially successful in the roles in which she will appear on the local platform. The plays to be given-locally will be selected from a wide number available, and the names will be duly published in the press. Dean Fergus Reddio, who assists Miss Young in leading roles, comes from a wide stage experience to Australia. Dean Reddle began his theatrical work with Daniel Prohman, and for the last few years has-been associated with Miss Young’s Companies. He is the leading figure in the Little Theatre movement in the North-west of America, and has done more than almost any other man to establish clean and wholesome drama bn a firm footing in America. ; The Dean is a graduate of Harvard, and has been oh the faculties of the University of Indiana and the IMgfusity of Oregon, and has written a number of successful folios. f NOW ON. i' Look Otir Prices.
