ODDFELLOWSHIP

GEEYTOWN, February 25

The following resolution was carried by the Oddfellows’ Conference: That this conference of Wellington District of Oddfellows assembled extends to fellow brethren Who have returned from? active service to the Dominion, and to those vvho are still on duty for the Allied cause of freedom and justice, our hearty congratulations for the very successful termination of the greatest war in history. We are pleased to know that representatives of this district were united in the bonds of friendship, love and truth with an army of 200,000 Oddfellows, who so nobly upheld the honour of the Allied ' nations, and "brought about a successful termination of hostilities. 'We mourn the loss of so many noble lives, but have the consolation of knowing that the sacrifice was for the uplifting of our cause and the crushing of a very bitter enemy.
