LONDON, February 15 Sir Edward Cassel is banding over to seven trustees, including Messrs. Asquith, Balfour, Haldane, Fisher (Minister of Education) Mr Sidney Webb, and Mrs Phillipa half a million sterling for the promotion of education among workmen, viz., scholarships for the sous and daughters of workmen; assistance to colleges for the higher education of women; and the promotion of the study of foreign languages.
