It will be a record of National Historic interest for future generations. The colours of all the Allies, etc., will rest there. Cf The interior Decorations and Memorial Windows will be worked out in religious symbolism setting forth scenes from every war zone in which New Zealand’s sons have fought. Members of the Anglican Church and sympathisers are asked to contribute to the cost of the Cathedral, which will be erected entirely of free-will offerings from people desirous of expressing their thankfulness to God and their gratitude to their fellow men for the blessings won for them as a result of the victorious war.
