TAIHAPE SHOW.
The entries for the coming TaiSape Show close to-night, and intendfng—exhibitors are requested to make their entries today. The prize money and trophies offered compare more than favourably with former years. Mr. A. Joblin has donated a handsome fruit stand for the points prize for home cooking, which it is hoped will create some competition among the ladies in the district. t'wo classes have been added to the schedule since it was issued owing to supporters of the show donating specials. There is a class for the best'hack owned and ridden by a returned trooper, and for which th<4; prizes are £3 first and £2 second J
and also a class for the best yearlingrun Hereford bull, first prize £3, second 10s. The youngest boy" rider and the youngest girl rider in the pony classes will each receive £l, which has been donated. Schedules giving full particulars of all prizes may be obtained from the secretary, A. M. Ryan, at his office, Gretna Buildings, or will be posted on application.
