BOWLING NOTES.
Following on their recent successover the Taihape bowlers who visited Hunterville on Anniversary Day, the Hunterville Bowling Club has challenged the local club for the Hum Cup.
The visitors wil) arrive iv. Taihape to-morrow,'.rjarning, and the'game will commence at i§.3o.
The challenging team will consist of: Messrs. E. G. Evans, W. Wilson, A. Gordon and G. Clark (.skip). The defending team will be: Messrs. J. Evans, McKenzie. Clark and Wrightson (skip).
Members are reminded that to-mor-tow is a general tea day, and the wives and lady friends are requested to provide accordingly. The Hunterville Club wil] pay a return visit to Taihape on March 17, when seevral rink matches will be played.
Members are reminded that the time expires to-morrow for the competition of the Thurston Pairs Competition, and competitors are requested to get them off without delay.
The draw for the singles competitionJwilL take place early next week.
