PEACE CELEBRATIONS,
ROMAN CATHOLIC PROGRAMME.

Archbishop O'Shea has isslied a circular to the priests of His outlining the services which Roman Catholics are to observe in connection with peace celebrations. On the Sunday itself there would be a solemn votive mass of thanksgiving.
On the Monday a requiem mass for all New Zealand soldiers who died in
the war.
On Tuesday, mass of the Holy Ghost to ask God to guide our government and rulers in the great task of reconstruction after the war. The celebrations everywhere are to be as solemn as possible, and wherever it can be done the masses should be sung.
