HOSPITAL MATTERS.

(To the Editor) Sir, —I read with interest your report of the Hospital Board's enquiry into the charges made by Nurse Reid against the Hospital and its administration during the epidemic time* As far as a mere outsider can see, things seem to have been •'anyhow" at the Hospital, but at the enquiry Nurse Reid did not have enough evidence to sheet the charges The Board by a majority of 6 to 5 held that her charges (were > "unproved and unfounded." Unproved they certainly were, but with many others of your readers I am satisfied merely from reading- the report that they were a long way from being unfounded. Where there was so much smoke, there must have been some fire.—l am, etc., NUFP SED.
