BOWLING NOTES.
o (By B. Uppe.)
The bowling green presented a lively appearance yesterday afternoon, all the Tinks being occupied, and play kept up as long l as daylight lasted. The lawn was in splendid condition, and the "green" required for a long-head shot was phenomenal. A lot of ties in the pairs handicap were played off in the latter part of the day. This competition seems to be prolific in "runaway" surprises. RINK MATCHES. Marlow. Collinson, Neagle, Carrie (skip 17—Roddick, Murray, Darvill, Wrighton (skip) 22. Intending participants in the trip should notify the secretary (Mr. Fookes) as soon as possible, to enable him to make the necessary arrangements
