Charlie Chaplin, according to American newspapers, has taken to himself a 17-year-old bride, one Mildren Harris, a movie star. Miss Harris was one of the youngest stars with the Vitagraph Company, whore she appeared in the picture “The Pride of the South.” She is now with the Universal Company. Among her recent pictures are “The Whim,” “The Price of a Good Time,” and “The Man Who Dared God.” She is fond of outdoor sports, and is a musician and dancer. It is not announced whether she will continue with the njovics, hut as last spring Chaplin was said to have received 1,000,000 dollars for the year as the result of producing his comedies with his own money, it is expected that he will be able to keep the family pot boiling.
