AUCKLAND FAT STOCK PRICES
Messrs. Dalgcty and Company, Ltd. report having held their usual weekly sale of fat stock at Westfield on 'Friday, January 3. as under:— 1 Beef: A good yarding and prices, were the same as last week, Extra prime ox sold at up to £2 12s; ordinary quality, £2 3s to £2 7s; cow and heifer beef, 50s. Veal: A fair yarding and prices were equal _to last ' week's • rates., Heavy runners sold at up to £5 10s; heavy suckers, £3' 5s to £5 10s; small, 20s to 355.
Mutton: A fair yarding and prices, were about the same as the previous sale. Prime wethers sold at up to 355; good wethers, 32s to 30s; medium, 2Ss; prime ewes, up to 2Ss Gd; medium, £1; others, 10s. Lamb: A good yarding and prices showed a short decline on the previous sale. Good, 28s; medium, ISs; others 14s.
Pork; A medium yarding which sold at late rates. Choppers made £3 15s to £7 17s 6d; bacouors, £4 to £5; porkers, 35s to £3; weaners, 20s to 31s.
