The United Press's Berlin correspondent says: The New German Government consists of the following:— Ebert, Chancellor and Minister of the Interior; Seheidemann, Foreign Minister; Landsberg, Finance Minister; Wessel, Minister of Social Affairs.

The Government has announced the following policies: To prepare for a National Assembly; to provide food;' socialise public institutions; seize war profits; provide universal empToyment; promote national defence; disarm unauthorised persons; bring about quick and favourable peace, and reform German diplomacy abroad.
