A o c<3>r<sJ dJJ o Help in the building of the New Anglican Cathedral, Wellingicn IN times of old, men and A women did their part in a practical way in the erection of churches of National aid - historic interest. To-day you can be ju.st as practical by' giving the means ' to enable the skilled artisan to do vv ith his hands what you c.nnot do with yours. Every stone in this great building—every article of adornment will be the gift of a grateful people thankful for victory, icr peace, and for the preservation uf loved ones; or desirous, it may be, to perpetuate the memory of fallen friends. The new Cathedral will be erected as a Thankoffering to God, and as a Memorial or New Zealand’s part in the great war. The names of all New Zealand soldiers who have fallen in the war will be inscribed in letters of gold on the marble walls of the Military Memorial Chapel (the west wing of the Cathedral). Other items of- national and historic interest will also adorn this Chapel. A A A Your Gift will help to make possible this great building and permanent memorialof National interest. It will place on record for centuries YOUR expression of thankfulness for to-day’s great blessings. Contributions, or promises, may be spread over a period of one to five years. Government Stocks and V/ar Loan Certificates may be donated. Legacies also may be made payable to the Wellington Anglican Cathedral Fund.
