DISTURBANCE AT PORT DARWIN MELBOURNE, Dec. 19. In the House, Mr Glynn, replying ,to questions, stated +hat a serious disturbance occurred at Port Darwin on Wednesday. A crowd gathered at the office of Dr. Gilruth, Administrator of Northern Territory, demanding an account of his work during the past five years, and presenting- certain resolutions. Dr. Gilruth addressed the mob and declined to accede to the resolutions. A melee followed, in which Dr. Gilruth was knocked down. Steps have been taken to maintain order.
