At a meeting -of the National Executive of the Second Division League correspondence from branches with reference to the repatriation Bill was read, together with letters sent to every member of the House and Ministry by the Executive, Replies from the Prime Minister and other legislators were also read. After discussion the follevving resolution was carried: “That the Na.tional Executive of the Second DiviIsion League records its strong dis;approval of the Repatriation Act as passed by Parliament, and iraving used every c‘-onstitutionai means to ‘get this vital question vfully deliberat!ed on and amended by Parliament, is [compelled to advise members of the JLeague throughout New Zealand that they, in common with other organisations whose representatives have been lignored and whose rights have been lviolated by the operations of the poliltical machine, must rest content until the general election gives them the right to record the only effective protest at the ballot box.
