FOR HUMANITY’S SAKE.
I Owing to the ravages of the Epidemic, there are, in our midst, women and children left destitute. On their behalf, I appeal to the humanity and generosity of the public of this Borough and the surrounding for funds to provide for those' left helpless. Immediate assistance is required. Donations may be sent to me until such time as a Public Meeting is held to deal with the whole matter and will be acknowledged in the “Taihape Daily Times.” A. L.
