' A Berlin message says the executive 'committee for greater Berlin officially ! states that in an- understanding with •'the Bavarian executive, the com'mittee resolved to demand the immedilate resignation' of Dr. Solf and his replacement by a constant opponent of the old system and of the war policy, also an assurance that Erzbcrger will ' not participate in the peace negotiations. AMSTERDAM, December 3. The Workers' and Soldiers' Council have occupied the castle at Potsdam, and it is to be used to remedy the shortage of dwelling "houses for the poor. Councils .throughout Germany are forming so-called "iron divisions" to guard against Bolshevism. : The workers of Berlin have declar■ed that the banks become State property and they threatened likewise to f confiscate all house property. A message from Berlin states: According to the "Rhenische-Westfael-isehe Zeitung," considerable financial alarm still prevails in Berlin. People continue to withdraw bank and Post Office deposits. Payments of rates and taxes have ceased in greater Berlin since the revolution. LONDON, Dec. 3. The "Daily Mail" says Bavaria is gradually reaching a conclusion to re'tain unity with the rest of Germany, rather than seek a separate peace.
