Total admissions to the emergency hospital are 67, deaths in hospital 11, remaining 21. Total deaths in the district, 26. AT TAIHAPE, Beyond chronicling the fact that the improvement of the last few days is being well maintained, there is nothing to report. The patients in all the hospitals are making good progress, with two exceptions, which are critical cases. There has been no further mortality during the last twenty-four hours. The band of workers, while always on the qui vive, now have fue to “swop”' experiences gained since the epidemic started. There is not so far the slightest indication of a recrudescence of the malady. The Mayor’s Fund is within £lO 19s of £3OO, and if anyone whose sympathy has not yet crystallised into £ s. d., will make up the balance to £3OO, the Mayor will have pleasure in recording the fact in to-morrow’s paper.
