FOR HUMANITY'S SAKE.

Owing to the ravages of the Epidemic, there are, in our midst, women and children left destitute. On their behalf, I appeal to the humanity and generosity of the public of this Bor- ' ough and the surrounding for funds to provide for those left helpless. Immediate assistance is required. Donations may be sent to me until such time as a Public Meeting is held to deal with the whole matter and- will be acknowledged in the "Taihape Daily. Times." A. L. ARROWSMITH, 27th November, 1918.
